Live Bands from the Philippines in Chongqing, China

Nightlife in Chongqing is something that is definitely fun and exciting when you first arrive.  Everything is new, all of the neon lights perform their own light shows, and you don’t know what to expect.  The bar scene in Chongqing is fun because there are a variety of bars you can try that have their own unique look and feel.  Foreigners are welcome to all of the bars.  There are even nights where foreigners can drink all they want for free.  The best part of going to the clubs is watching live bands play.  It’s nice to see the Chinese bands play, but they are no where as good as the bands from the Philippines.  They have the experience and talent to give a good performance.  You will find bands from the Philippines in hotels, bars, and even jazz clubs.  You don’t really know they are around until you go in and see.  Most of the hotels you can stay in that are international have a band from the Philippines.  These bands usually consist of a sequencer and two singers.  Sometimes the singers can play their own instruments, but there usually isn’t enough room for them to do that.  I’ve seen Filipino bands as big as six playing in a salsa bar.  The songs they sing are catchy, so it makes for an enjoyable night.

Visit Puerto Galera When You Go to the Philippines

Ferry to Puerto GaleraPuerto Galera is an amazing place you can visit when you go to the Philippines. You can take a ferry to Puerto Galera from a port in Batangas City. When you get there, you can hire a motorcycle with a side car to go to a number of different beaches on the island. I recommend White Beach. The sand is clean, the waves are friendly, and the locals don’t bother you too much to buy their jewelry or coins. Last time I visited the place, I bought an entire pearl set that includes earrings, necklace, and bracelet for only $4. I think I could have bought the set cheaper if I just walked through the shops and saw the same thing on a shelf. Anyways,White Beach in Puerto Galera it was fun. At Puerto Galera, you can even go snorkeling. The group I was with got to hold a rope on the side of a boat while it pulled us through the water. It’s pretty amazing to see the life that’s in the ocean. The hotel we stayed at was beach front, surrounded by a variety of bars. It was only about $50 a night to stay, so it was quite worth it. You can walk along the beach and check out some of the places to stay before you choose. Be sure to check out Pureto Galera when you travel to the Philippines.

Cheap Domestic and International Flights in the Philippines

One of the cheapest airlines to use to get to and from the Philippines is Cebu Pacific Air. Check out their current deals and schedules. They fly domestically and internationally. Their routes are always expanding, so keep checking them out. One thing to worry about when traveling to the Philippines is the weather. Sometimes the weather can delay flights, so try to give yourself some time between flights just in case your flight is delayed. I’ve personally used this airline to travel from Manila to Hong Kong on my way to China. It was cheaper than most of the other airlines. When you are traveling for two hours, I don’t think it really matters about comfort and luxury.
